I was invited to give a presentation to 3rd year Occupational Therapy Students at Cardiff and was delighted to accept.
I have always felt that education is so important and to let these young people see and understand what life is like to live as a quad amputee is paramount in their approach to becoming an OT. I was honored to do this and afterwards questions were flying , the room buzzed.
This was a great feeling. Ruth Squire ,Lecturer thank ed me and was very proud and inspired by my presence and presentation. She hopes I can return again.
